MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has been able to make major international inroads into the Latin pop culture. Una Lady Como Tu (his popular hit song from 2016) received an Colombian Kids Choice Award, 2017 Favorite Song. His debut album was a long-player ADN with the Sony-owned company based in Medellin, La Industria Inc. The Top Latin Albums chart ranked it at number 8. Vaina Loca was one of the Top Five hit for Ozuna and for him in the following year. Mala Influencia, made available in 2020 by Noriel and his Dopamina album the following year. In 2021 he produced a duet for TINI's hit song Maldita Foto. 2000, which featured the smash song La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was brought up within a musical family, as both his mother & younger brother are musicians. In interviews, he described music participation as mandatory. When a young boy was in school, he took saxophone and guitar. At first, he wanted to become Veterinarian, however after his brother Julian encouraged him to take singing lessons from an Cuban singer, he altered his career plans.
