Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig November 21, 1983) is an American actress best known for her roles in the roles of Shannon Rutherford on the ABC TV series Lost and Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. Originating from Worthington Ohio she left high school and moved into Los Angeles with her mother following her divorce from her parents. Her first role came to her as Rachel's Room's title character, in 2001, despite having a difficult time with finances. In the following year, she was awarded a Young Artist Award nomination in 2002, for her role as 15-year-old murder victim Martha Moxley in the television film Murder set in Greenwich. Grace Rutherford was the character Shannon Rutherford for Lost's first two seasons of 2004 as well as sharing with her a Screen Actors Guild Award (with the rest of the cast) alongside her. Grace decided to concentrate on film after starring opposite Tom Welling's character on The Fog, in 2005. She appeared as Kim Mills opposite Liam Neeson (both in Taken 2008) as Suburban Girl and The Jane Austen Book Club. Taken 2 (2012), Taken 3 2014 and Taken 4 (2014) are her re-casts of these characters. Grace played Shannon's part in Lost for two additional episodes, including the series final. She also appeared in the sixth series of Californication. The actress plays Faith an actress in a group and as a muse to the stars who captures the interest of Hank Moody played by David Duchovny. Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. She's a Gyllenhaal, the daughters of Stephen Gyllenhaal (director) and Naomi Achs (producer), and is older than Jake Gyllenhaal. As a teenager she appeared in small roles in her father's movies and she co-starred alongside her twin brother on Donnie Darko which is a cult classic. Later, she was in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (both 2002) and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal was praised by critics for her leading roles in Secretary (2002, erotic romantic drama) as well as Sherrybaby (606) Both of which garnered the actress Golden Globe Award nods. The Dark Knight, which was released in 2008 after numerous highly successful films, including World Trade Center (2006), brought Gyllenhaal greater fame. In the film, her performance as Crazy Heart as a mother who is a single parent received her a nomination to an Academy Award Best Supporting Actress. In the following years she was a part of comedies as well as dramatic movies: Nanny McPhee & the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011, and Won't Back Down 2012. Other roles are as an agent of The Secret Service in White House Down 2013. She also appeared singing in Frank 2014 and as a singer as a singer in The Kindergarten Teacher 2018, where she is the main role. Gyllenhaal composed and directed her first feature film, The Lost Daughter in 2021. The psychological drama won Best Screenplay Award from the Venice International Film Festival. The film was also nominated for be awarded the Academy Award of Best Adapted Screenplay.
