Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician born in Mexico was born into an adored family of musicians. Her childhood was spent listening to classic, old boleros along with the traditional songs of romantics and ranchero. Ana has a passion for Tangos, opera, and every form of dramatic performances. Her mother teaches her how to sing. However, she started more intense vocal training with Flavio Belcerra, who was 16 at the time when he was a renowned Mexican opera singer and tenor. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. The beginning of her professional career was spent performing with various orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs and chamber groups in Guadalajara. She sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to Southern California. She sings as a soloist Latin American music for private functions and as a member Ensemble XXI in Redlands. Passion and enthusiasm in music, art and performing has her involved with a variety of local initiatives as a performer and teacher. Ana is a previous participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands (as being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana is a fan of traditional Latin American songs and hopes to inspire other people to follow in her footsteps.
